Share the exciting news!

Share with your colleagues on LinkedIn that you’re coming to the PDC. Share in the excitement and encourage them to join in on the fun and learning! Feel free to download and use the Attendee graphic in the link below (click then right click the image to Save As). We gave you some ideas on what to say in your LinkedIn post too in case you’re interested. Don’t forget to tag the Region in your post by using the @ symbol then typing in our page’s name (@Region VI – American Society of Safety Professionals). If its easier, you could always just copy and paste the message below in your post and it will automatically tag us:

“Excited to share I am going to the @Region VI – American Society of Safety Professionals PDC in Myrtle Beach! Anyone else in my network attending? If so, drop a comment! Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Register today at regionsixpdc.com”

This is also a good resource if you’ve never posted an image on a LinkedIn post before.

Attendance Request Letter

Need some help convincing your boss? Try out the language we laid out for you in this letter. Customize it according to your company and needs. Need anything else? Let us know, we’d be happy to help!

Learn, share, and network with your colleagues

One differentiator our regional PDC has over others is our ability to connect with those in our same geographical space. The unique needs of the workforce from states within our Region make it especially important for us to network with other EHS professionals who we can learn from and lean on. One resounding comment we hear back from attendees each and every year is how great it was for people to network and connect with others within their state or at least our Region. They’ve said it helps with getting new jobs, staying more connected, and has a local resource they can call on rather than someone halfway across the country in a completely different industry and region.

Events

5K Fun Run

On the first and second day of the Conference, we will host a fun 5K run for anyone who wants to join in on some morning fitness. We will all start as a group and venture out on a designated course around the plantation campus starting and ending at the hotel. Open to any fitness level, you can run the course, or we will have a shorter looped course for those who want to participate together but want a more manageable course option.

No cost to join and the winner of the run will be given a fun prize for being the most fit! Text Bryce Lawlor (860-329-4385) to let us know you want in!

Corn Hole Tournament

Grab a buddy and your A game – we will host a Corn Hole Tournament after the days learning on Thursday afternoon. We will have multiple courses setup and let loose with some fun competition. Chapter bragging rights anyone?!?! More information to come so stay tuned. In the meantime, find your partner and practice up!

Tennis

Any tennis players out there? As an alternative to the 5K Fun Run, we will get together with anyone interested for some morning tennis before we start our day. Text Bryce Lawlor (860-329-4385) to let us know you want in!
