Understanding and Harnessing the Power of Human Habit Science to Enhance Safety Results

What if you could coach on subjects that people are interested in, and create new safety routines in the process? This presentation discusses the use of human habit loops to tie subjects that people are really interested in to effective safety routines, and thereby effect reliable, long term safety behaviors.

Presenter Jack Luckhardt, CSP, ARM

Jack Luckhardt has 43 years of progressive experience in the safety, health, and environmental field, a large portion of which was at the corporate management level. He has worked with a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, health care, funeral homes, and insurance. Mr. Luckhardt has maintained a successful private safety and health practice for 25 years.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Luckhardt has been designated a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), He is an active Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), where he has held a wide range of leadership positions at the local, regional, and national level. He served on the National Board of Directors of ASSE as a Region VI Vice President from 1999 to 2002.
