Please join me in congratulating Lindsay Bell, MPH, CSP for being selected as the 2019 Blacks in Safety Excellence Safety Professional of the Year!
Lindsay is currently an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at The Sherwin-Williams Company and a Master of Public Health graduate from the University of South Florida in Health, Safety and Environment. Lindsay is a professional member of ASSP, where she serves as Delegate and Chapter WISE Co-Chair for the National Capital Chapter. She is a member of the BISE and WISE Common Interest Groups, where she participates in mentoring programs for both groups.
Lindsay is also a member of the Training and Communications Practice Specialty and volunteer leader in the ASSP society-wide Membership Development Committee and New Professionals Task Force.

Donors can establish a named academic scholarship or professional education grant fund through the ASSP Foundation. Scholarships and grants advance the safety profession and provide national recognition for the donor. The Foundation manages the administrative details of this program and works with the donor to provide qualified award recipients each year.
